School of Specialization in Psychiatry

Post-Graduate School of Specialization in Psychiatry

The Institute of Psychiatry at the University of Verona runs a four-year School of Specialization in Psychiatry. Six to ten medical doctors are accepted every year. The training includes lectures, seminars and clinical work, done under supervision, in all facilities of the South-Verona Community Mental Health Service. Students are required to present a thesis by the end of the course. A psychosocial approach is emphasized.
